This movie had me hooked for three reasons. Firstly A 300 sequel. A movie which set standards for directors and urged to take out mythology in prehistoric style "golden" , blood and gore , not to forget buffed warriors.
Second reason be visual effects. I am a really big fan of graphics and effects as a gamer that i am. Thank you for appreciating. -_-
Lastly " Zack Snyder " !! Even though he wasn't at the helm of this one but surely acted as a producer. Thats a reason enough for me to watch it.

Well, i was a bit disappointed by the direction and storyline for not featuring Leonidus. But overall this movie was good. Not bad. But not Better than it's predecessor.
Movie starts of with the Spartan Queen narrating the whole incident how Themistocles slayed King Darius , ( Father of Xerses) and how Xerses fails to save his own father and is depressed over his death. There enters Artemisia, Naval commander by Darius' side who happens to have a hatered for Greeks after being abused and left for dead by a group of Hoplites. Horrifying yet Sexy Eva made her look great.Then story moves on to how she manipulates and turns Xerses into a god king.How he gets to Sparta is history. There is blood and gore. Initially movie is quite a bit boring but nearing to end of the movie, the visuals take over and turn into adrenaline pumping gory fights. And best of all the "Enter the Spartans".
Its a good watch. Worth the money.
